Came here for anniversary dinner and was surprised there was such a nice place in Shawnee! Food and drinks were fantastic. House old fashioned and lemon drop martini were good. Hatch chile queso mac and cheese with burnt ends had just enough heat to complement the dish. The filet mignon with mashed potatoes and vegetables was well prepared. Dessert was vanilla cake with marscapone, blueberries, and lemon with raspberry sauce and dusted with powdered sugar...wow. So much good flavor, but still lightly enough to not be too much. Restaurant good for any occasion. Highly recommend!!

I got a drink from their menu I can’t remember the name of it tho and the waitress was super kind and made it alcohol free for me and it was super amazing! The service was good and I got the charcuterie board and the berry jam/sauce that came with it was amazing and fresh I loved it!! The interior design of the place was really nice and the waitress was very nice and the cheese was fresh and the little toast were nice as well and overall this place is a 5 stars!!! I’ve also came here about 3 years ago and got chicken and waffles and WOW were they good my dad got the Theo burger and seemed to really enjoy it and my stepmom got the street tacos and when I took a bite it was WOW to they tasted like really good tamales lol. Also in the beginning of the year me and my mom came here and my mom got the lasagna which was absolutely amazing I took bite and was kinda of jealous I didn’t get it as my dish lol but I did get a very tasteful pasta I can’t remember the specific kind but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since it was delicious but I still can’t get over the drink definitely gonna come back and try some other ones!!!! I could go on and on about how much I loved everything I’ve tried here so far

So good! Checked this place out on a recommendation from a friend while in town for business. So glad I did. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent selection of creative and classic cocktails. And the food is incredible. The unique twist on chicken and waffles was so great that I went back another night of my trip to try the street tacos. They did not disappoint.

Updated review: After many, many meals here, we still recommend it! They a not perfect, but redeem themselves easily. Last visit we had the petite fillet and the cheese steak sandwich- bothered were delicious! I still recommend this fine establishment. We had a fantastic New Years Eve dinner at at Theopolis! Ceviche, pulled pork salad and Surf-n-Turf! Everything was great! Service was excellent, wine pairings and palet-cleansing lime sorbet & champagne. Thus place cannot be beat!

This is our second time dining here. We drive 1 1/2 hours to eat here. Having celiac, it’s SO hard to eat out, but they have SOOO many gluten free options. Fresh food and tastes AMAZING! I will continue driving to eat here. The staff is top notch as well. Very friendly and accommodating.

Theopolis is inviting and charming. The cuisine, wine list, and craft cocktail offerings are all top-notch. The staff is knowledgeable and seemed like experts in their industry. The historic space boasts beautiful, well-appointed interiors and lighting.

Ordered the MVP Mac & Cheese. Very delicious! Comes with burnt ends, and they were so good! Also got the Theo Burger with fries, and it was a juice patty with all the fixings (lettuce tomato, onion, pickles). Highly recommend!

Great food & very nice, welcoming, & helpful staff. We'll definitely be going here again!
